How To Set a Timer on Your Apple Watch

Sure, it’s easy to set a timer on your iPhone. But what if your iPhone isn’t always handy? After all, one of the great things about having an Apple Watch is that you don’t need to always have your iPhone at hand.

Luckily the Apple Watch has its own built-in Timer app, and you can set a timer for any length of time in just a few seconds. Here’s how.

How To Set a Timer on Your Apple Watch

  1. Tap the Digital Crown to Open the App Menu.
  2. Tap the Timer app on your Apple Watch.
  3. Tap a timer duration to select a time length and start the timer. You can select pre-designated timer lengths of 5 mins, 10 mins, 15 mins, 1 hr, or 2 hrs.
  4. Scroll down to choose a custom time.

When a timer goes off, you can tap Repeat to start a timer of the same duration.

You can also create a timer for a custom amount of time.
